The Shimano Tourney RD-TY500-SGS is a long-cage rear derailleur designed for reliable 6- and 7-speed Shimano SIS indexed drivetrains. It uses Shimano’s Double Servo design to keep the guide pulley tracking the cassette closely for smooth, accurate shifting, making it a practical replacement derailleur for recreational, commuter and entry-level bikes.

This version uses a conventional direct-attachment mounting interface and includes a built-in cable adjuster for straightforward setup.
