The Shimano SM-BH90 Hydraulic Brake Hose Olive and Connector Insert is a genuine Shimano replacement fitting used when installing, shortening or servicing Shimano hydraulic disc brake hoses. It is designed for use with Shimano SM-BH90 brake hose systems, helping create a secure hose connection when a brake line has been cut or re-fitted.
This small but essential service part is commonly required when shortening a hydraulic brake hose, fitting a new brake hose, or reconnecting Shimano hydraulic disc brake components. Shimano advises that the olive and connector insert should not be reused once installed, as a damaged or reused fitting may not provide a secure hose connection and could cause fluid leaks or hose disconnection.
Suitable for a range of Shimano hydraulic disc brake systems using BH90 hose, this genuine Shimano olive and connector insert is a practical workshop item for mechanics, home bike maintenance and brake hose installation jobs.
