Shimano SM-LVOIL is a low-viscosity mineral oil developed for compatible Shimano hydraulic disc brake systems. Its low-viscosity formula provides a reliable bite point, consistent braking performance and smooth lever feel across changing temperatures and trail conditions.

Compatibility

Compatible with selected newer Shimano brake systems, including XTR M9200/M9220, Deore XT M8200/M8220 and BR-MT805 systems. Always confirm your brake model before use.

Important: Shimano low-viscosity mineral oil is not backwards compatible with older Shimano hydraulic brake systems and must not be mixed with standard Shimano mineral oil.
