The Shimano Dura-Ace WH-R9370-C50-TL Carbon Disc Wheel is the all-rounder of Shimano’s latest Dura-Ace wheel range, combining aerodynamic efficiency, low weight and responsive handling for racing across varied terrain.

Its versatile 50mm carbon rim provides the speed advantage of a deeper profile while remaining light and composed enough for climbing, rapid changes of pace and technical cornering.

Carbon spokes, a revised carbon rim layup and an updated hub architecture reduce the complete wheelset weight to a claimed 1,302g per pair—159g lighter than the previous WH-R9270-C50 wheelset. This delivers a sharper response under acceleration without sacrificing the lateral rigidity required for sprinting and high-speed racing.

The new rim profile was developed through more than 5.4 million shape simulations and delivers a claimed 6% aerodynamic improvement over the previous C50. A 23mm internal rim width, designed around modern 28–30C road tyres, provides excellent tyre support while helping to reduce rolling resistance and maintain stability.

Front- and rear-specific external rim widths further refine airflow around the tyre, measuring 31mm at the front and 32mm at the rear.

Straight-pull bladed carbon spokes provide an efficient balance of stiffness and low rotational weight. Shimano’s serviceable cup-and-cone bearing system offers smooth running, precise adjustment and long-term durability, while the rear wheel features Direct Engagement technology for responsive power transfer when accelerating or attacking.
